This Opera house was actually designed by Danish. Jorn Utzon was a very popular Danish Architect of his times. He designed this beautiful building and people form all parts of the world visit Australia to take a closer look at this building. The idea of building such a piece of art came into consideration by the government in the 1950s. At that time a competition was held to choose the best suitable design for this opera house. Utzon’s design was selected from thousands of designs, but the problem with the design was that the engineering science of that time was not proficient enough to support the construction of the sails in the design. The architect took tow more years to finalize his design and removed the flaws of engineering and construction from the design. At present it is one of the highly visited buildings in the world. It is a beautiful piece of art and engineering of the modern day.
